The Production Situation of Silicon Metal Factory

  It is near the dry season in South China, most of the province need to make double control actions accomplished. That is controlling both the quantity and intensity of energy and resources consumption. There is no doubt to reduce the production.
  So far, with the totally 111 silicon metal furnaces in Sichuan Province，there are 73 silicon metal furnaces under producing. Monthly output around 47300MT. Now the price of electricity increasing，with the high price of the silicon metal at the moment，the increasing of the cost which because of the electricity price now have no much influence. It is said that the rate of the production in November will drop. Most of the factories will stop producing. The output in November will go down 30% compare to October.
  With the totally 136 silicon metal furnaces in Yunnan Province，there are 95 silicon metal furnaces under producing. Monthly output around 68150MT. With the temporary stop producing last month，this moth some of the factories in Yunnan come into operation. But the price of silicon metal is going down generally. The market is quiet now. Also the relevant policy is unsure in Yunnan Province, most of the factories have no idea when will stop producing. Some are unwilling to sell now. It is certain that the price of the electricity will going up, with the dry season is coming in Yunnan，most of factories will stop producing or reduce production.
