Poor Demand for Si Products in China

Quotation of silicon metal products kept steady temporarily in China. Export price of Si 553# was USD1,950-1,980/mt FOB and 441# was USD2,040-2,090/mt FOB at Huangpu port.
According to www.ferro-alloys.com, Si quotation dropped slightly in part areas. With Lunar New Year approaching, some Si plants decreased price to sell in order to receive funds. While on the whole, Si price ran flatly on spot market. due to poor demand, consumers depressed prices to purchase.
