According to the statistics, the operating rate of silicon metal in Xinjiang area is about 37.5%, decline 1.19% compare to last period. It is predict that the monthly output will reach 58300 MT. Now because of the covid-19, the operating rate is under the low level. Also due to be short of the material, some factories said they will not increase the production even relief from the epidemic. So far only two or three suspend factories are planned to reproduction in September. It is said that the number of operating furnace will reach around 70 in September in Xinjiang area. But compare to the last year，still in low level. In the south area, the price level of electric is stable. Under the influence of unpredictable flood, some factories suspend the production plan for a short time. Now most of them are recovering production basically. In Yunnan area, the price of electric increasing a little bit. At the present, most of the factories are producing under the firm orders. There is no much stock. The price of electric in Fujian area is higher, only the factories got the firm orders from the regular customer are producing at the present. Other factories are now observing the market.
