Does the Price Get Higher Influence Production?

This week the price of low grade silicon metal increasing obviously which also influenced the higher grade of silicon metal price. Because people always purchase while the price is getting increased, recently there is no doubt that no matter traders or end users are more willing to purchasing. As the price getting higher, people also pay attention on whether some factories are going back to producing. So far the factories in Chongqin area now all under the suspend production situation. With the influence of price increasing by silicon metal 553, the factories said it should be decided by the market situation. They also worried that if they restart producing, the price gets changed later on. It is said that some factories are going to start producing on the beginning of September.

  Some high grade silicon metal factories in Hunan and Fujian area said they do not have plans to produce so far. It is because the higher electricity price which makes no much advantage.  The domestic market seems turning actives, however, the international market don’t have much enquiry. After price getting higher, the oversea customers are observing now.
