The Price of Electrolytic Manganese Metal Flakes Continue Decreasing

 Last week the price of electrolytic manganese metal flakes keep drooping. Most domestic steel factories had their tender for the last two weeks, the prices is mainly dropping.

  Seeing from the supply and demand, so far except for a factory in Hunan area stopped producing due to the environmental protection. Daily output decrease about 25MT, other electrolytic manganese metal flakes factories basically have stable production. There is enough supply in market. It is said that the daily output for the whole country now reach about 4600MT. Under the condition of market price drooping, the factories are under pressure. The traders or end users always purchasing while the price is getting higher, they are unwilling to buy when the price is drooping. So now they all observe the market, it is still buyer-dominated market.

 For the export, as the domestic price dropping and the RMB exchange rate above 7, the price for exporting is also decreasing. The market price for exporting is very disordered. The oversea tender will start this week. It is said that Posco will have their September tender of EMM this week, people are all focus on this tender. However, at present with the excess production capability, it is said that the market maybe keeps weakness.
