Silicon Metal Factories are Reducing Output

Enter the April, under the condition of the low demand of silicon metal, some south factories are planning to reduce the output. Also, the Xingjian area factories start reducing the output. Beside the stress of stock and financial, some factories have been continuous producing for long time, the low demand market makes them lost confident and gradually reduce the output.

Influencing by the weakness market, some low grade silicon metal factories offer the low price for their stock. But the overall price rarely changed. In Ningxia area, some factories now offer the price which are falling drastically their cost price. Therefore, they got plan to maintenance the machine perhaps in the end of this month or in the beginning of May. Even they have plan on producing other product. The reducing output phenomenon also exit in Gansu area.

It is still unknown about the market, but for sure that the price will not increase a lot within short time.
