The Situation of Silicon Metal Market in the Beginning of April

In the beginning of March, the low grade silicon metal market, such as 553# 521# 551# are activity. The price seems lightly increasing. However, as the factories producing unable to keep up with the consuming by end user, some purchasers turn to purchase off grade silicon metal. The market price drops a little bit.

   Turning into April, the added value tax drop 3%, that’s makes the purchasers demand a lower price. However, the market situation is not as their expectation. Some manufactures who under the pressure about the inventory or cash, now are willing to concessional rate for selling. But the silicon metal price still getting lower slowly. Therefore, in the April, the market maybe keep up the situation or slightly drop.
