Silicon Metal price keep on rising

After the national day holiday, most area in South of China raises their offer for silicon metal. This week, the price of silicon metal in Yunan area still goes up. As far as we know, there is little low-grade of silicon metal in stock so far. Medium-grade of silicon metal gains more enquiry recently. The factories all wish the price will be higher.

In Yunan area, the price of electricity will be changed. In addition, due to the limitation of period in production, the low-grade factory is reluctant to sell out. With the increase of electricity, the produce cost will raise hundreds even over a thousand. Majority of factories give out high price. If the market price will not go up, they will chose to hold on producing.
